Clarence says: A Meadowmount reunion in Hong Kong, with two dormmates from Frankenthaler from 1998, exactly 20 years ago. Meadowmount was a place where I met my life long friends, had aspirations about making it as a musician, had the chance to learn from the world's top teachers - (Ann Setzer) and had the opportunity to interact with some of the top musicians now, many of whom hold positions with international orchestras, or as soloists. Tonight's meet inspired me to pick up the violin again, to start taking lessons, and maybe start playing in the orchestra again. And one day I hope I can set foot back at Meadowmount - that is if I can pass the audition and get admitted back. Or I can be the parent to drop my daughter Prima there for summer camp. Ryan says: "Meadowmount reunion in Hong Kong! It was exactly 20 years ago that we all met in this wonderful summer school in upper New York State. Clarence Cheung, David Erikson and I were dorm mates in Frankenthaler in 1998. This was a place where life long friendships were formed and where the love of music was shared. Three cheers for Mr. & Mrs. G: for Meadowmount, for my teacher Ms. Sally Thomas, and for all Frankenthalerians!!!! Like my pal Clarence said, I hope one day I can bring my daughter Felicia to study at Meadowmount." |
